Default DRW tires

Anyone run Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires on their Sprinter?

I'm looking to replace the stock LT 215/85R16 on a 2017 144 4X4 DRW 3500 with the Cooper, Goodyear Duratrac, or Firestone Destination M/T to better handle sand and mud.

I'm not sure how loud the Cooper tire will be on the road though.

Thanks,
JM

Anyone put MT or AT tires on a 4X4 DRW?
If so, what sizes/type?
Thanks.

I have Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac in 215/85/r16. It's the stock size tire on black steel Mercedes wheels. I love the tires and they're not very loud...

I run 235/85/16s Duratracs on mine. They fit and drive fine.

I have the Cooper ST Maxx 255/85/16 on the stock steel rims. I have done a fair amount of long freeway driving and have found them to be pretty quite. I had BFG on my Jeep Rubicon and found them prone to cupping and becoming very noisy.

ManVan, Cole and ScottShelley,

Do you have issues with the duallies touching? I have a 2011 3500 DRW 4x4 on 205 75 16 and they are nearly touching (maybe 1" gap). My wheels are the 5.5J 16 H2 ET109.5 (A001 401 36 02). Looking to goto 235/85/16 but more likley 215/85/16 due to the lack of gap with my current 205s.

Cole, it looks like we have the same wheels judging by the vent holes you have, can you confirm?

Ive run 235/85/16s now on 2 dually Sprinters. Maybe 75-80k of use. Lots of back country stuff, towing a car hauler and general hooliganism(these drift well in the snow)

Never an issue

Are they on the 5.5" rims (5.5J 16 H2 ET109.5 (A001 401 36 02))?

I have the Duratracs (245/75/R16 same as s stock size) on my 17 2500 144 4x4. Got them for gravel, dirt and especially for the snow *****. Theyre not real loud on highways IMHO.
Im curious about their performance in mud and sand too . . .
