I built an HRV/ERV for my 170 and I might want to start selling them as a side hustle. I am happy with what I have, but I’m looking to get feedback on my creation from others. I’m looking to help others build one, but I’m looking for feedback to fix any unforeseen bugs.
DETAILS
-uses 2 ceramic cores, fan and filters like a Lunos unit
-fans alternate flows every minute to charge the cores before transferring heat to the inlet air stream. Units are placed in the opposite corners of the van
-I 3d print the duct system to attach each fan and interface to a vent.
-I control the system from a wall stat that contains a CO2 sensor and some custom programming
-all parts run from a single 12VDC power cord
-I installed mine on the rear door on the top and bottom. I have a rear bed and a divider between the top and bottom of the van. Looking for collaborators to install down the drivers side front and rear. Top vent has a wedge spacer to offset the angle of the side of the van.
