I searched long for a generator mount that was easy to use and would come off easy to use off the rig but could also be used on the rig. I do not have anything to do with this company. Uses a puck lock and no exposed bolts so hard to steal. Plus the the optional rotopax mount allows gas behind generator vs the front which bothered me on othe mounts. They have option to add reciever hitch which is what i used. https://fittingdesignsco.com/collections/camping

Looks like a really slick design if you don't mind having your generator visible. Looks like it would be harder to crack than your typical storage box, but having the generator visible can be like turning on a light to attract bugs. Security is not a perfect science and every approach has trade offs.

For my generator, I just cut & bolted couple of tubings, who I found in my shed. Front hitch was another project.
Security is an issue, so I put concealed, metric bolts in the footing, what was later covered by plastic shield.
I figured not too many thieves in USA carry 10 mm socket.

Lots of ways to skin a cat. I was just sharing this as I really think the design is well thought out. Easy to take on and off leaving the basket in place by unlocking the puck lock. All bolts are unreachable by tool. Just posting so others know it's out there.
