Recommended Mercedes Sprinter Oil Specs

Types of oil used in Dodge Sprinter Model Engines
** Any engine oil with MB 229.5 specification can replace MB 229.3. MB 229.3 oil specification should not be used in place of MB 229.5 spec.

Note: As time passes there may be newer MB spec engine oils created that may be backward compatible. That does not change the information above as listed. The oils listed will still be approved for the engine.

MB229.52 is an approved oil for all 2019 and newer VS30 907 diesel [DPF] engine Sprinters.
